Gospel is to preach the good news, is that right, when people say Gospel mean song they are simply spreading the goodnews through songs to reach out to others.

Gospel, or a gospel can by definition mean a spiritual based song.
Nice simple definitions you have there, good for children's church.
But you know the definitions can be deepened.
