Why do people use logic to try back up their belief in God?

The Supernatural is by definition beyond the limitations of logic. Why not just admit that it's pure irrational faith that guides them without feeling defensive and creating long-winded arguments with people who have differing opinions.

(we are not talking about any religion)
If you understand physics, and mathematics...then the idea of accidental creation statistically becomes zero.
Everything out in space follows laws, even if they are unconnected and completely separate..they follow the same laws.

If a universe happens by accident, that is impossible.

ok, on earth everyone knows about evolution? fine..survival of the fit ect..

well in space, objects that are imposible distances apart, that most likely have never in billions of year be related.

all follow the same rules and since we didn't make the rules...someone.something did.

the rules were in place BEFORE the big bang. because as the universes' matter raced away, it was already following the same rules.

before the big bang there had to be a creator to set the rules and more importantly to trigger the bang.

everything in existence was mashed together...there was no outside force to do it...so something outside our normal existence had to be the one...it is the only possible choice.

the ultimate proof of a Creator is found in science..not on a pew.

Guided faith is not irrational. Guided faith is from the Holy Spirit is human, not divine. God does not operate by way of logic. In fact, much of what he does as is recorded in the Bible defies uman logic and this is the problem with interpreting the Bible. Human logic is based upon what is perceived through the five senses and filtered through the emotions; therefore, it is unreliable. God's wisdom is based upon his infallibility and upon his eternal nature and his divine love. Nothing about God makes sense to the raw human mind. It is only after the mind has been touched by the Holy Spirit and cleansed by the blood of Jesus that we can begin to put all the pieces together and form a very weak comprehension of God. It is a waste of time trying to figure God out because our minds are too limited. The limited cannot comprehend the unlimited---this is Philosophy 101.

People base their lives on emotion, not logic. That is how we evolved to behave, and in most cases it serves us well. It can also be manipulated, as it is by advertisers, salesmen, politicians, and some religious charlatans.

The "logical" proof of God's existence runs as follows: everything has a cause, therefore there must be a first cause that caused all things, therefore that first cause is God.

This is bogus - how do you know it is one God and not 2, 3, 4, or 5000? How do you know it is an intelligent being? You don't. Etc.

Because there is more ans more scientific evidence discovered every day that points more toward God and away from the idea of evolution. Look at the irreducible complexity of the cell that has absolutely NO theory on how the cell evolved to what it is. Look at our perfect place in the galaxy to see the bulk of the universe. Look at the perfect size of the moon, who's gravity keeps the earth's tides, slows its rotation so we have 24 hour days, and is just the right size for total eclipse. During a total eclipse, Einstein was able to make observations that helped contribute to his theory of relativity.
On the other hand, it's not logical to state that we come from nothing (the Big Bang- which Christians say came from God), that our consciousness sprang from nothing, and that we don't matter in the scheme of universal things, considering our perfect place in the universe.

Also GOD did left some clues.Like Psalm 19:1 says heavens declare his glory and the firament showeth his handywork.We are made in the image of GOD.Actually GOD takes desire in finding u more than u finding him.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

there exist lot of part of our universe our lives that we can never understand and they need to believe with out using logic cos he can explain any think but in the other hand if you take a look at the universe around us you will realize that god is the creator and because were human we always need to use logic and in the same time just believe look inside your self look around you and you will see the think which can really back up your believe in god

I will tell you my faith is irrational. It is the only way i can explain things otherwise unexplainable. It also makes me feel good to practice my faith as an individual.

if you use your mind logically without any racism or haterd or anger it will lead you certainly to faith in god there are somethings that can not be explained but most of the things can be explained logically
