If you were to be given a second chance at life would you take it, and what would you change about it?

I'd have done a lot of things different. I think we'd all do a lot of things different.

There's people I wished I had been kinder too, people I wished I had spent more time with. Trust me, no one on their death bed is going to wish they had worked more. They are going to regret not having spent as much time with their loved ones.

If I had known it was going to be the last time I saw them, I would have made sure to tell them I loved and stayed home that day them instead of arguing with them and going off to work. (This has happened more than once)

Birthday presents I wish I had purchased and given instead of thinking I'll get it this weekend and then "this weekend" instead of a birthday turned into a funeral. It was a little too late.

In terms of being involved in past relationships, past religions, and past *cough* political organizations most definately. Honestly, if I ever tried running for political office now...I'd be seriously screwed. Too much dirt to dig up on me.

I'd jump on the chance to change my life, and I'd change just about everything.

The most important of these would be finishing school and going to college. I'd have a career early, instead of kids. It's not that motherhood isn't wonderful, it's the best thing to happen to me.

However, I've always been a single mom, and I managed to eek out an existence for us while staying home with the boys. I had a registered day care.

I thought college could wait until my kids had all reached junior high age. At this point I'd get my education and set up a life for myself so that I'd have a career when they were gone. All this time I've put my kids first, but I figured that was plenty of time to go shopping for a husband, and to live for myself for a change.

Wrong. Fate stepped in two years ago and changed all that. Instead of being a young, vibrant, forty-something woman, I've lost my health and am disabled.

So if I knew then what I know now, you bet I'd change it.

Only if I was completely pissed about the life I had. We are a product of what our experiances have taught us and given us. I would be a totally different person if I changed the past. However, if I was homeless and alone, I would want to redo something there because I would have so little to live for.

Would I get to start over at infancy? Well, I would seriously consider it because that would be like adding an extra 25 years to my life which I am more than willing to take. I wouldn't change it...well I would make it so my mummy didn't drink and she never meant my step father, but other than that (as far as my adult life goes) things are good. I would even want to meat my high school sweetheart all over again (even though it would mean we would break up).

I admit I'd be seriously tempted. There are things in my life I wouldn't mind changing if I had the chance to do them over again (nothing serious, but I've had my share of stupid little mistakes that have left me kicking myself afterwards because I wondered where my brain was at the time).

Pretty amazing uh?Be given second chance to improve your life or to patch up your mistakes. I dont know whether it happen in this real life or not! But if i'm given that second chance, one thing i really wanted to fixing my relationship with my sister. We aint that close, we fight all the time, she hate me and i hate her. I dont realize how important is she to me until i lost her last year. She involved in accident and past away..I regret all the bad thing i said and done to her..I learned that life is short and you just have to cherish every single second you have with your love one. Dont full your heart with hate and anger, it aint worth it

I always give people another chance regardless of whatever the reason might be. galtiya sab se hota hai but one has to forgive him/her. [Only in real life] Coming back to blocking someone at Y!A, I wouldnt give any chance because this is internet life where one cant easily trust a person.

Definately go for it. And I'd rebell against the sadistic sicko uncle that abused me between ages 9 - 13. I hope that b@stard is enjoying himself in hell.

No. I've made plenty of mistakes but I like to think I've learned some valuable lessons as a result of that.
