I'm pretty happy, I wouldn't do anything to change it

Actually I reside in the real world, but to answer your question no I'm not exactly happy with my life! Change isn't possible because it would take years to change the way I think.

I mean people have a basic thinking format that they use when they are running on autopilot, my thinking format has been adapted by my up bringing and situations I've been forced to live through, which in essence has left me with a negative attitude, with slight paranoid tendency's.

There are certainly things I'd improve if I could, but all summed up, yes I am happy with my life. I am so fortunate to have some health, loving children (and pets!) to love in return and this incredible planet to live on. It's easy to dwell on the many negatives in our world but I can't change them by responding negatively. I work to bring Light, Love and Peace into every situation I encounter, every day. That's about all anyone can do, I think!

This may sound stupid or cliche but real "happiness" resides in you. You can't DEPEND on anything or anybody to make your happiness. If you NEED money or another person (or whatever it is) to make you happy, you really are not happy. It doesn't hurt to have those things though. But, if you depend on those things to be happy, you really are not. The thing that has helped me most is.. I used to look at all the bad things in my life and say, "Why are all these bad things happening in my life"? and bad things continuously and rapidly kept happening. Now, I look at all the Good things in my life and acknowledge them and give thanks for them. It's sometimes tough, but let the bad things just slide. And give thanks for the good in your life and focus on the good things about your life and no I'm not ALWAYS happy. But I am much happier!!

I'd be happy to lose the pain. I have rheumatoid arthritis, palindromic rheumatism, and fibromyalgia-three diseases that cause pain and disability. If I didn't have that to deal with on a constant basis, I could take care of everything else. Zero Cool mentioned her husband's pain-she knows what it is I'm talking about.

I'm only 43 and have another 30 years of this to look forward to. You can imagine for yourself how this makes me feel.

if I could go back and change something, knowing what I know now?

I would change only one thing.

on 9/10 2001 I would be in New York City with the 101st ABN DIV emptying out the WTC complex and inspecting the building cores.

after that..nothing else would really matter

I am happy with my relationship and home life. But as for my own personal goals, I am not happy. I need to go back to school, that is probably about it lol.

I'm pretty content I guess but Mrs Judas would like to see me spend less time on here!!

She thinks I'm a bit cruel to those of strong faith.

Generally yes. I would change my husband's health. I hate that he has to suffer through intractable pain.

I'd also change our financial situation. We're not suffering, but we're not surrounded by buckets of cash, either.

Ye, I am a Christian who likes to help other people grow spiritually for God! Jesus said we are to love God with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind, and to love our neighbor as our self. I think this is our complete reason for living!
