It had it happen to me once. I had an old 1972 buick. The brakes failed as I was getting off an off ramp. to slow the car I through it in to low gear and depressed the park brake. I hit the car in front of me going about 35 MPH. His brand new 1991 truck didn't stand a chance aginst my 1972 buick. I totalled out his truck while my car just could have driven away. I got the breaks fixed and continued to drive it for another 6 months before I yanked the motor and tansmission to put in to a 1968 Skylark convertable. It happens, don't feel bad.

As you can guess from my Handle I am a Motorcyclist and once about 10 years ago I was stationary at a roundabout waiting for traffic to clear when I was hit from behind by a car the driver gave a false address but I did eventually track him down and claimed off his Insurance and presented him with a bill for twp solicitors letters plus a Private investigators bill and a further bill for bus and taxi fares and yet another bill for the damage to my leather crash helmet boots and gloves it might teach him to be a bit more careful now

No but i've crashed into the side of a car after he pulled out of a side street on to the main road right in front of me. All drivers need to make sure there is enough space between them and the car in front in case people have to stop suddenly. Not always possible when driving in a busy town though. Don't worry about it, it happens.

Last year i crashed into a car which had topped to make a right hand turn, I managed to write both our cars off.
It can be depressing, especially when your car is non repairable and you have to deal with insurance companies and medical practicioners bills and then having to find money for all of these while trying to find a way to afford to buy a new car.
You will get over it, it will take awhile though. You will keep berating yourself for a few more months yet.

Yup! been driving nearly 20 years 12 of those in the rat race! The only accidents I had were wi guys cutting me up and then trying to get out of it with their insurance by saying I just hit them!! One guy even reversed back into me at a junction after misjudging traffic and had the nerve to say it was my fault!!
Hope you got witness statements if the police did not attend? They are nice to your face then try and shaft you, just like in life really!!
Don't let it get to you just keep telling yourself you've still got your health and it was just metal on metal console yourself no real harm done!
The other week I hit a pedestrian and was really shook up about it. The police, paramedic and bystanders all said it was not my fault but I still felt terrible. I slowed down approaching parked cars and managed my emergency stop but I still feel ill at the memory of it. He was only a little boy of 3years old! of course he should not have been out on his own but it did not make me feel any better. he was uninjured too!
If your really annoyed don't bottle it up! let it all out! then move on! You'll feel better soon

No I hav'nt yet I too have had a dent put in my automobile on the food market automobile park. It grew to become into'nt a great dent, yet they nonetheless broken somebody elses property. If I by probability bumped somebody elses automobile i might leave my info, in spite of each little thing that's what i might desire others might do for me. Like I reported on the commencing up I hav'nt crashed into somebody elses automobile yet I as quickly as drove my boyfriends automobile and left the handbrake on. i grew to become into using it around the block and that i presumed "what a gutless automobile" and it wasnt till finally I have been given out and smelt an undesirable warm scent that I realised what I had performed!!! And particular, I did very own as much as what I had performed. via the way, our procuring centre has risk-free practices cameras, perhaps you may desire to examine if your shops have them, there may be action picture of the motor vehicle that crashed into yours. good success.

Yep hunni, you are not alone!
I hit or should I say rolled into the back of a black cab - there wasn't a bloody mark on it or mine and the fat bastard took my insurance for grands! ( He said we didn't need to involve the police as there was no damage and then went straight to claim!)
I was gutted as there was no harm done - but I suppose he got a fookin holiday out of it and I paid a higher insurance rate!
Don't be gutted girl - it happens to everyone!

my friend, i managed to write off my car, in a car park! into the back of someone else. i ended up in his space, and bounced his car up the kerb and through the fence. nobody was around.... me and my mates phoned the cops, they didnt want to know. so we left a note on the car, explaining, lol, that we were away to the football, be back at 5! we had to knock on alot of student doors when we came back to find the owner, he wasnt that pleased, swung a fist.
my fault, dont do 50mph down a hill into a wet, leafy, car park, with 4 people in your car!
was it your fault??
insurance will hit you for it
