i have been working on my whole body but most people ask me to flex my biceps what is so good about them what advantage do they give you.
do they just look good or do they make you punch better?
please help.

Well actually, you will use your deltoids more in a punch than your triceps. My assumption is that the bicep is more accessible and tends to bulge, making it at the height of peoples queries. A girl might want to ask to look at your pectoral muscles too, but that might be a bit intrusive, and for a guy, a fair bit gay.

They're fairly useful in that they allow you to move your arms. They let you bend your arm at the elbow, and rotate your forearm, but they don't improve punching, as the actual punch involves the triceps. The bicep is only then used in retracting the arm.

It is the only muscle everybody knows by it's scientific name. And (like she said) flexing your Gluteus Maximus isn't done...yet.
