I'm getting some serious lines between my eyebrows and I'm scared they'll become permanent. I'm only 35 and wonder if botox would keep it under control.
I'm worried about getting stuff injected into by skin for a start, but also because it's so close to my eyes, could it affect them too?

Don't listen to any stories about Botox. There is no risk at all if you go to professional aesthetic clinic and have doctor to do it. If you just tell him that you don't want stiff look and want to keep some movement at this area,he'll adjust the dose for you.It wont affect your eyes, don't worry, its just to paralyse the muscles which cause your skin get wrinkles. The effect is not permanent, last up to 6 months,so you have to repeat it,but every injection last longer with each time you have it done. The little pain while inject worth it,because you'll forget about your wrinkles after. All the best to you!

Say no to botox, it's nothing but the e.coli bacteria! The horror stories I could tell you about botox and some thrill seeking friends that have used it! Thry the preparation H first, then try some other anti-line/wrinkle creams. Exhaust every other option before you go stabbing your face with stuff you don't know too much about, your body will thank you for it.

The risks are extremely low. They have been doing Botox for over 30 years. You can get more information at the attached sites.

considering it is formaldehyde, why on earth would you want to inject that into your skin. Go to Whole Foods or Wild Oats, and their skin care counter has natural alternatives that can help plump up the skin. Safer in the long run, and will probably last longer too!

Facial paralysis is one risk, the more you use it the more the dose increases for the same effect. We grow old anyway one day, why don't we accept it, if you were my wife or my girlfriend, I would offer you flowers even if you looked like my grandma. Why give yourself bodily harms for something that we all lose one day.

you are killing the cells in your face when you do botox. There are no reason's to get it. Try some creams that are less damaging.

botox is botulinum toxin (modified). the risk? you will have this "permanent" facial expression (if you would consider a 'startled look' a facial expression)
