The Ante-Nicene Fathers were those who were after the Apostolic Fathers and before the Council of Nicea in 325 A. D: Iraenus, Ignatius, and Justin Martyr.

After the Council of Nicea in 325 A. D. arose the Church Fathers who are considered Post-Nicene: Augustine, bishop of Hippo, Chrysostom and Eusebius.

There wasnt. They were Disciples / Apostles, Bishops. Jesus said to call "no" man Father!!!!!! For there is only One Father.
