my mum and fiance hate each other and have recently gave me an ultimation i have to choose one or risk losing both what do i do?

You need to grow a back bone and tell the both of them that they had better get along!
You love them both and they just better get over the fighting if they love you. Then when either one of them makes a remark, you need to be very clear with them again...and again until they get it!
They are adults and quite capable of being civil for your sake!

This is not good. There is much more to this. Your mom more than likely will always be there for you.
There must be more to this... If your under 27 stick with your MOM. You should not have to choose. If your older then you should know what is best. But family is always there for you. You should not have to make that choice. Right!!!

How old are you?how much love you get from your mother and the love you get from your fiance?of course its different kind of love from both...so
the heavier the better-but remember you grew up with your mother-do you want to miss the chance growing old with your fiance?the best thing i can say is try your best,to make them get along if you haven't try yet.

Basically, you don't choose. Let them choose. It's petty for them to "make" or "ask" you to choose between them. Why did this ultimatium happen? What caused it? Can't they be "civil" for a few hours if they have to get together? Personally, I don't like conflict and will avoid them if possible. But back me into a corner and I'll fight like a little ferret.

Its not fair that they are making you choose.Say you cant choose. Your mother is your mother for life and your fiance is someone that hopefully you will love and live with for the rest of your life and bear future children.You need counselling on this one.

well to tell the truth i would choose me mum cos she's always there for u and she has always loved you... and u'll never no u fiance might dump u and leave u or cheat on u so ur mum can't do that can she ?i hope this helps if not soz and i hope everything turns out the way u wat it to be?

choose your mum first ....then only your fiance.....
anyway,everything will be going well if both of them willing to give chance for themselves to suite the situation....

they shoultn't do tha 2 u, tell them that they are upsetting you and if they don't behave then tell them that they are both going to lose you, then they'll realise(hopfully)that you love thaem both and they must learn how to get along.

Your boyfriend may be misplacing responsibility for his behavior and feelings. Young men tend to think only conflict will resolve their problems...
Therapy may be a start...
