Yes. Answer mine and see how many people agree with you.
Some people aren't as fast typers as others so we make mistakes, and time is of the essence here. If you get too many people answering your question, then the ones at the bottom are never read or voted on...especially if there are lots of long answers. Nor is everyone versed in the english language.
And really, is it so important? I mean, as long as it's not chicken scratch and their point is clear then I would say the final result is more important than the appearance.

Yeah, it's one thing when there is so many spelling and grammar mistakes that you can't even read a question, but sometimes people get hung up on the little things, I'll agree. I think some people will do that when they disagree with what you are saying to make you feel stupid. I always check my spelling and grammar, but it takes me longer and I don't get as high up on the list (which decreases your chances for being chosen for best answer).

i deserve 0 for my spelling and (-10) for grammar ( thank god there is a check spelling.)
this happens to me all the time but i don't care about that as long as the English was not my first language :)

i do that too, but in France. You see, I'm French and I hate when people make mistakes. and I'm not the only one!
but after correcting mistakes, I always answer the question. if I have understood it!
and to answer yours, I would hate that but it's never happened!
