I like to throw the cat amongst the pidgins more often then not. So here is my challenge for the Christians,

Create, using only what you know with absolutely no research, a convincing argument that another religion is the true religion. You may choose from Buddhism, Hindu or ancient Greek/Roman gods.

ANSWER ONLY IF YOU ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE!!!

Thanks.

P.S. This question follows on from one asked to Atheists.
This question is aimed to shake the complacency of people (one of the things that I hate most about our society at the moment). It is all too easy to sit back and say, I know everything or I am right and all others are wrong. This the reason why I ask this question, I am looking to see if there are any out there who will re-evaluate their beliefs by trying to prove the oppositions argument. This is called a crucible test, subject your own assumptions to the test and see what it left.

So please do not answer unless you accept the challenge, it will be of no point and a colossal waste of everyone’s time otherwise.

Well my first choice would have been one of the Native American religions, but I am assuming that we only have a choice of the ones that you listed.

Buddhism. All of the problem in the world are caused by our selfish desires. If we let go of our desire and seek inner peace we can be happy in the world. When we can enjoy the flower without needing to possess it, we will understand enlightenment. This is the true religion because it it non-violent and strives to help us evolve to a higher plane of thought and being. It gives a good way to live and to be in harmony with each other and all of life.

Sorry, that is the best I can do at this 'ungodly hour'. I need to go to sleep now. (for the record, I am an Episcopalian.)

The problem with your question is that I know nothing else about the other religions you mentioned except that they exist or existed. I know a little about Buddhism but that's the only religion I would consider following since its the only one that makes sense to me. Otherwise a good question.

By the way Its funny how some people did exactly what you told them not too, assume they know it all.

true believers in Jesus Christ (true christians) do not have religion. therfore, it would be impossible for them to say which is better religion.

I challenge you to open up your heart and let Christ in, instead of trying to prove your worthless theories through His children. We don't need to do pointless exercises. We know the truth already.
