You shouldn't give a 2 year old any soda, juice or milk, the soda will cause a lot of mouth decay, and possibly stomach problems (ulcers/acid reflux etc.)

Most of them have caffeine in them and this affects there body more than an adults
And the sugar that is in them is not good for them

I know of a family at the day care that the Dr's told them their child had ADHD and they did not do well on med's then it was brought to their attention what pop can do to a young child and they took her off if she went through a hard time at first but she is now ok and she does not have ADHD she had a sugar high with caffeine added to it
it made her out of control and very moody

It teaches them at an Early age to not eat right

I have a friend who their mother only gave her water and she got milk at meals

did she miss it??

well now as an adult her favourite drink is water and she has great skin /hair/ and nails/ as a child she was not sick as often as her friends and even today she does not get sick often

Drinking plenty of water flushes out the toxins

Ginger ale is OK for them if you do not over do it

A Friend only gives her child herbal teas and water and milk

You should not give a two year old any soda, I am sure natural juice would be better.

yes, very... you should be giving your 2 year old water most of the time... the caffeine is unhealthy, the carbonated water bad for the kid's teeth and the sugars are the worst--the create a whole lot of diseases later in life...

you could feed your 2 year old milo, horlicks, juice (better to give fruits), or those drinks with acidophilus in them (over here it's either yakult or vitagen).

You should stick to water (I dont use tap), you should stay away from soda and anything with high fructose corn syrup. If you are going to use milk try soy or lactose free. NO SODA!!!
