Yours were just like mine. It took me about a week to fully recover (don't use straws--ouch!). Typically it's 2-4 days, but I've met people who recovered in an hour!

I had 4 out & I think it took a couple of weeks. What was bad though was my reaction to the anti-biotics they insisted I take for a week, even if they made me feel ill. I couldn't go to work & when I did a week later everyone said I looked like a zombie or heroin addict, I was pale & spaced out. I can't recall the exact symptoms as it was years ago but I couldn't drive, walk straight & certainly couldn't work. I got told if I didn't take the anti-biotics I was in danger of serious infection & could end up in hospital. There was nothing wrong, it was just a normal wisdom tooth removal, maybe my dentist was a bit crazy as clearly I must've been allergic to the anti-biotics & shouldn't have been taking them.

I took Oxycontin to ease the pain (percocets) for about 4-5 days. I seriously probably only needed them for 1 as I was out on a date probably 2 days after my teeth were yanked. I had all four removed and one was brudally impacted.

The little holes take probably 2 months to fully heal over and stop getting food stuck in them.

I only had two removed (I didn't have the upper two to start with); I think it took me about 2-3 weeks to heal completely, but I was certainly in better shape after a week or so.

Depends. You'll need three or four days to recover from the worst of it, but you can have some aches and minor problems for two or three weeks. That said, it varies from person to person. Our jaws and teeth are not all created equal!

ouch bless your heart

follow the instructions and RINSE it out with the antibac and don't drink "hot " stuff for a while.

It will honestly take at least 3 weeks to heal, so keep those pockets moist with "teabags". I used the herbal blackberry tea bags and yummy, they were really wet and pushed them into the sockets to help it heal. the mouth needs moist to heal faster, a dry socket really really hurts.
