What's it mean when a girl starts crying on your shoulder asking you why you're so nice to her?

She may have been treated very badly by others. Sometimes when a woman gets out of a bad relationship where she was treated abusively (verbally or physically), she has lost her self esteem. She has been conditioned to believe that she does not deserve to be treated good.
There is only one other scenario in which that I could imagine that would happen. She may be feeling guilty because she wants to break up with you.

That she is cheating on you, and the cry beforehand was meant to soften you up.
okay, no maybe not cheating, that might be a little far fetched, more or less that she has feelings for someone else whom she would like to peruse, but the cry on the shoulder thing still is used as a tactic to soften you up.

Hi Wish, It sounds like she has been hurt before and she is confused and doesn't know how to act around a descent guy.Just hang in there with her and see how things go. Don't be pushy let it go on it's own time. Treat her like a lady and treat her special. Good Luck my friend.

shes feelin low, and got self esteem issues, it means that she see's u as a good friend and needs you as a shoulder to cry on and thats a very good thing, so she thinks well of u

She feels guilty for her actions and her expections were not met when you obviously responded in a caring way when she said she did not love you. OR she's got such low self esteem that she wanted you to blow up when she said it and now knows she's the fool.

Sounds like depression and self esteem issues. Typical teenage stuff.

Its the guilt of losing someone that treated her well, because although she just doesnt love you, she cant help but feel guilty because probably no one has ever treated her as well as you have. sorry man

She has never been treated as the way you did for her, if you sure what you did is positive for her, keep it up... otherwise, she will probably be disappointed.
