my normal bp is 120/70 everyday i check it is there a possibility that it would be over 100 the next day?

i'm only 25 years old im just curious if its possible especially now that its summer time, thank you

i mean if there's a possibility that from 120/70 could it become 130/100 the next day?

Well yah it's a possibility ..... the resons are ....

1. Wrong reading .... u see the BP machine has to be placed at the heart level (the zero approximately in level with ur heart )

2. Different cuff size the smaller the cuff the higer the reading

3. User variability cuz they tend to misdiagnose the 3rd and 4th koratkoff sounds

4. U were exercising or stood up from a sitting position suddenly , emotionally tensed infact anything that might have got ur adrnaline pumping or baroreceptors firing

5. Well if ur worried about hypertension sheeesh get a life dude ...... well but if u mean ur diastolic is over 100 it is significant but only if it holds up for 3 cosequtive days

Yes. Your blood pressure is not a constant thing and varies day-to-day and during the day. Anything upto about 140/90 is pretty normal, and unless you have other problems, like heart conditions you don't need to worry too much.
Blood pressure can go up with exercise, general stress and going upto 130 systolic isn't a big deal. I doubt your diastolic would vary that much though. So at 25 years of age, I wouldn't worry unless it's significantly higher at rest.

I think you may be confusing blood pressure and pulse? Are you saying that the 70 becomes 100? If you take your blood pressure two or three times and the lower number is over 95, you need to get to a doctor.

why do you check your blood pressure daily.i doubt if the diastolic pressure would go over 100,unless you push it over by worrying
