What are the right words to tell the one you love that you want to be with him when he wants to be with his friends? When you need him the most but you also understand that he loves his friends more and would rather be with them? What can i say to him when i need him so bad but not seem clingy?

see if he'll schedule time with you after/before he sees his buddies. tell him you understand his need for "guy" time, and you want to support that. is it possible to become interested in some of his hobbies to increase your time together?

if you need to spend time because of an important issue, then you should be able to say just that---if the relationship is mature. also, i don't know that i'd be okay with my guy always putting his friends as the priority. there has to be balance, if you want the relationship to go the long haul. if he can't put you first all the time, at least 50/50 is fair. i find my boyfriends (and now hubs) always saw my point when i appealed to his sense of fair play, instead of demanding or getting angry.

Tell him that you haven't felt very loved lately. Tell him that you know that he enjoys being with his friends too, but sometime you feel that you take second place to everyone else in his life. Tell him that if he doesn't love you, he should tell you, and let you find somone that will want to be with you more. If that doesn't move him, then tell him goodbye!!

Do you really love this guy?
Maybe this is a one sided love.
Maybe he is not ready to commit to such a serious relationship and want more freedom to be with his friends.
Don't say anything to him. Make it so pleasant to be with you that he want to be with you more. If being your natural undemanding self is not enough, then maybe he is not the right one for you.

Don't say anything, ignore him a bit and he'll be the one begging you to spend time with him.

If he would rather be with his friends you are waisting your time and he will leave you high and dry eventually.

You say, "Hey, you don't mind if Tommy and I hang out while you hang out with your friends...do ya? Tommy says he has something really big to share with me."
