Dead Hair Help!!! My hair is dead and i need some ways to grow it back?

I used to slick my hair back all day everyday and now its dead... i stopped putting gel in my hair because it looks so crappy when theres no gel in it. can anybody help me find ways to cure this and bring my hair back to life, also its getting really thin what can i use to make it grow thicker?? PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Use a deep conditioner, and a thickening shampoo. Im not sure if it will go back to looking healthy. Maybe get it trimmed that might help with the damaged hair.

Try a clarifying shampoo to remove build up from the gel and other products. Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo is the best one I've found.

Rogaine is the only thing proven to stimulate hair growth.

If you hair is thinning just because of breakage, then use a mild shampoo & massage your scalp w/ jojoba oil a few times a week.

use a voulmising hair shampoo and conditioner, use a volumising mousse for hair , use it when wet will give the most lift to your hair and cut the dead ends off your hair if the damage is severe you may have to cut quite a lot to get it growing healthy again, the drier the ends are the harder the hair has to work to get the length. don't use gel in fine or flat hair at all this will just make it look greasy and even thinner.
