My favourite colour is 'lavender','orange'

Since we're thinking of painting here, the question is one of shade or tone, not color. There is probably one tone in each color range that each person finds most pleasing.
For instance in my case, I like burnt siena and crimson red, Olympic blue, and one shade of lavender the best. But I also admire leaf green and forest green, charcoal grey, and sand beige; and I prefer the entire Etruscan range of unassertive shades as a group.

It keeps changing right now because of the summers its pastels.
Also 'm more consistent with Blue's.
