I have seen this cat in my yard, chased it off...done everything, have spent many dollars on products, gadgets....nothing works! Neighbor knows...told her and she ripped my head off. She said the cat craps all over her kitchen counters and can't keep it in the house for the safethy of her daughter. But when I tell her my daughter's health is at risk...she could care less. I can't imagine harming the cat ... not its fault ... I blame the owner...I have tried everything possible....nothing has worksed...cat is old...can't hear...probably can't smell either...nothing works. It's hopeless and seems so unfair...to me...people like this should not have pets!!! HELP...for my kids' sake!

Perhaps try using pine cones to cover the 'available' soil?

She does not deserve the cat since she has no idea what she is doing with it at all. God alone knows how she raises the poor kid, I shudder to think!

Notify the owner that the cat has been a nuisance for quite some time and poses a huge health risk for your kids, and she has only been unhelpful and abusive in this matter, you have no option but to have the cat removed. Since at that age chances of finding a home are so slim, you may want to try and find a shelter with a no-kill policy.

Poor cat, what did the poor thing do to deserve such a dreadful owner?

what worked for me, when it came to my neighbor's dog, is I started puttin all his dog's crap in plastic lawn bags, and saving it until the end of the week, and then every monday morning, when he was due to come onto his front porch to go to work, I would empty the bag out there. He made excuses also, and called the police the fourth time I did it. I told the police that since I couldn't touch the dog because it was my neighbor's property, then the dog crap must be his too, so I'm just returing his property like a good neighbor. It worked.
Also, if the cat can't be in the house because of her daughter, I think it's time to call CPS, the lady obviously cares more about the animal than her own child, and if it craps all over her house, that should go to the Health Department.

I would contact county health officials, and see if they can help deal with this irresponsible pet owner. The fact that they have a cat who is defacating all over their home also proves they're out of control.. what kind of people are these? You should have a phone number in the government section of your phone book.

Feed the kitty some cat food sprinkled with rat poison. Pretend to be very sorry around the neighbors. Or get a nice little pit bull.

Easy. Call the cops or the local shelter to come pick it up. Your neighbors have a legal obligation to keep the cat off your lawn. If they can't, they lose the cat.

I'm pretty sure there are no laws for this. Dogs yes cats no. But there is no law saying you can't pick it up and give it back to them! . Most cats don't like water so try squirting him with a squirt gun or a garden hose every time you see him in or around your property.

Call animal control & tell them the cat is posing a safety risk by crapping in your yard & that she is not keeping her cat on a leash as most places have a leash law for animals.

Scoop the poop and put it on the mat infront of his front door. Every last turd, everytime. People are like animals, they can be trained.
