From the neutral view of an atheist, Muslims are mono-theists and Christians are trinitarians which are not mono-theists but they say they are because they are so intellectually fried, irrational, illogical that they cannot even see that the pagan Roman Emperor Constantine created a religion that was easier to market to people who were polytheists that he could market monotheism.
As for peace, you don't have any concept of the Christian Crusades.
Talk about bloody history, it's hard to beat the Christians.

I have read parts of the Koran and the amswer is yes. However is not the holy Books that call for genocide is the interpretation. History reveals the peace enjoyed under Islam during the 13 and 14 centuries.
Our pursuit 2 find right and wrong is the root of evil.

Islam is truly the religion of peace and civilization and the bloody history is the history of struggle between good and evil. Look how many Muslim nations are invaded and destroyed today by the American civilization but history will say what the media is saying that America is the good and Muslims are the evil. Ultimately people of insight will recognize the masked truth. Both Muslims and Americans are losing from this struggle but ironically Islam is the only winner as it is still growing at phenomenal rate all across the world, why do you think?

Well in the first 100 years of Islam (after Muhammad's death) Islam spread from Spain to India thats over 8000 km of land by peaceful means? no way! The Muslims raped, pillaged and killed, most notably the genocide they committed on the Hindus in India during that time. Muslim apologist will say Christianity also had a bloody start, but they are too ignorant to see that Christians were persecuted by all for over 300 years after Christ. Islam was born in the puddles of blood and they're still killing today, trying carrying a bible in Saudi Arabia (home land of Islam) see what happens.
