You have great dreams but they require great commitment. Id suggest you get a G.E.D. simply becuase it will change your life to just even have a high school diploma. After than Id suggest going into a city college and transfering to a University to beocme either of your dreams. It will be hard but later on you'll thank yourself.

Buying a high school diploma (or any diploma) will have consequences down the road. Yes, your employer can do a background check by getting in touch with your school. If your diploma is a fake, you could get fired, because you weren't honest about your papers. Get a GED instead.

If you really want to be a doctor, go back to high school. Study hard so you can easily get into college, and then medical school. Studying a specialized field such as medicine would probably take a lot more than a GED.

Depending how old you are, you may be able to go to university without any kind of HS diploma. Where I went, if you were at least 21 you qualified as a "mature student" and could take classes. However, some classes do have prerequisites which might include say high school biology, so if you didn't have that you'd have to make it up somehow.

It's probably a hard road to medical school if you've ever dropped out of school, but good luck!

Just don't buy a diploma! Your boss might not check but the medical school certainly might.

You should be fine with a GED. You will only be cheating yourself* in the longrun if you decide to pass on getting a diploma.

Obtaining your diploma will open doors for you, and allow you to go to medical school. Even with a background check, you will not be fired because this is legal proof that you have graduated from high school.

If you pass the exam it will be because you earned the diploma and it will be something that you personally achieved.

Before I started college my uncle gave me some of the best advice, and I'll pass it on to you:

When you become a Doctor, people will not be looking at your diploma, but how well you can perform the functions of your job.

It's not the college/university you attend, but the personal education you take from the experiences you receive.

Hope this helps!

You should definitely get a GED by attending classes. You also have a choice of returning to school because you are still underage. If you boss does a background check and fire you, you can very much sue him because he is not allow to profile you based on education if you and the other applicants have the same degree of education. A GED received other than high school and the diplomas from high school are essentially the same thing.

If you want to attend the medical field, you should definitely get a GED. It is not a waste of time because in order to be accepted to the school of medicine at any university, you will have to have a GED and pass all the required core classes.

Good luck! and do well!

Finish school!!!

You could get a GED(high school equivalence)
but then you'll have to start at a junior college (2 years) and then you can start a real college(4-5 years).
If you want to be a doctor you also need medical school (2 more years) and a doctorate (4 more years.)
If you stay in school you can save 2 years of study!!!

Not advisable, like you said if the boss done a background history check and found out you would not only be up against getting fired but also fraud charges, you will then have a criminal history which will make it alot harder to get another job if you could at all. I also think you should give up on your medical career unless you want to go study at a tafe and finish your schooling then you might have a chance, I quit school at the same age and the only positions I could get were in the reception industry. I you can do a course in Office Administration then you may have a chance at getting a job as a medical receptionist which then may help or guide you to the higher positions.

Life is not a free ride. You have lofty goals that you cannot and will not achieve without formal education. If you truly want what you say you want, get your *** back to school or get a GED. Then, go to a technical school or join the military to learn basic medical skills, i.e., EMT. With a job in the medical field, you can learn related things and make a living too. Then you can afford to get your BA and Masters degree. Don't be in a big rush, take it one semester at a time. You can do anything you want but you have to have the guts and initiative to achieve your goals...Good Luck!!

Buying a diploma would not give you the knowledge that you'd need to go on to college, and pre med, and medical school.

Why would you drop high school when you want to go to all these other schools? Get back into school, and do it right.

You will know that you didnt get one.
A college will also know. Atleast get your GED now. So that you have it when you decide what you want to do.It's as good as a HS diploma.
Junior colleges are a great start, and are inexspensive. You can also find out there how to get scholarships and grants to help pay for the rest of your college. You can take all of your basic classes needed and they have academic counselors to help you figure out what classes you need to obtain your goals.
If you go to a Junior college for 2 years you are guaranteed entry into a state college.
Good luck, dont give up!
( slow and steady wins the race!)

p.s.YES an employer can fire you for lying on a job application. It says it on the app.
