i have a colonoscopy tomorrow and i'm supposed to drink 2 bottles of fleet laxative. I already drank one 2 hours ago and i'm wondering when it will stop working. its getting freaking annoying

4 freaking hours. how the heck am i supposed to drink two 1.5oz bottles in 2 hours. this sucks! damn i'm hungry

It'll stop in about a day. Colonoscopy's suck...good luck :)

I know it's frustrating, but it's really in your best interests to make sure you have a good prep. If you aren't cleaned out good, they won't be able to give you a good exam, and you'll probably have to repeat the test. Your bathroom will be your best friend tonight, sorry! If you want to help get a better prep, drink lots and lots of water. Just don't drink or eat anything after they tell you to stop (usually midnight the night before or 8 hours before your procedure is scheduled). It's important to follow their instructions to the letter. I know you aren't enjoying the prep, and it'll be even worse if you have to do it again!
The good news is that the prep really is the worst part of the exam. It'll be over soon, and you can go back to your normal routine.

Drink it all for maximum results. You want to be completely empty inside for the colonoscopy to be successful. Any "residue" left could hide a potential problem. To replenish what you are loosing, and we all know how miserable that is, drink lots of water. Your evacuation depends on your system and there is no set time limit on this. If you don't empty yourself completely you might end up doing it a second time to get it right. EeeeGaaadsss

Get the doctor to give you a picture of the colonoscopy so you can prove your not full of sh-it like I did. I hope the results are in your favour mine were.~~

Is it Phospho- Soda, about 1.5 ounces? If so, good luck. One bottle lasts about 4 hours before it starts giving you a break..

it takes a long time to stop, you are going to be "ready" when what comes out is complete clear, so I hope you are there =)
