I have heard that water intake should be increased if cramping is an issue. I have had experience with cramping at night in my back, my friend use to have cramping in his thigh and calf muscles. Both of us have experienced some relief with the addition of calcium with magnesium tablets. If you ask questions of the staff of a vitamin they often know what is hot for treatment of certain ailments.

Bananas are rich in potacium which prevent muscle cramping. But, by what you ask it seems that your cramping is due to stress. You need to develop a routine in which you give yourself a chance to relax. Say, 30 minutes a day where no one should bother you.

Drinking enough water and increasing the salt intake will reduce the pain caused by cramps, apply oil and wash it with hot water. More remedies available at http://aches.in/cramps.html
