Actually, I did.
I took two foreign languages in college and was a B student in both. Never used them.

I was "Drunk" in Mexico and was speaking Mexican French and NO English at all. It was hysterical.... my friends, thought I had gone in sane. I was hanging out with a Canadian and talking like we were old friends, the next morning, I didn't remember a thing...and couldn't speak word of any language!

My friends were cracking up- some had taken the classes with me, and I never spoke that well in class or lab. So moral of this story, YES.you can suddenly speak a real foreign language....just becareful what you say and whom you say it too.

Probably the foreign language that you are speaking is "I can't believe I drank the whole thing!!!!"

only if you knew how to speak that foreign language before you were drunk ...........at least that sounds logical to me.....ofcourse if a foreign language was spoke in moans and groans ... kind like cave man style... who knows maybe someone else could understand your groanings LOL!

I think it has something to do with your muscles relaxing in your tongue. I know when I get drunk and go out in Korean cities I suddenly remember how to say all the stuff I cant when Im sober..hamsamida..

so true...i start to speak spanish....even though i actually do speak spanish, but i forget people around me dont. and one time i was speaking french with this guy from morocco...but my french is pretty lousy.
