Actually yes there is some things I would believe.
You can tell me what color it is.
You can tell me the address.
You can tell me how many people on average attend.
You can tell me how tall it is.
I would believe you.

Believe what you will, think what you want. I personally am pro atheism and you can conform that to including practices of personal choice. In my personal opinion, God is nothing more than an intricate Santa Claus. I'm not saying it's wrong, but I just don't believe in the idea that many beliefs for religion are taken from text written long ago. Doesn't qualify to me as the best source for some to dedicate their lives to, and not one person should bend their lives around understanding this or changing an others' opinion on a large issue like religion.

Sorry if I went off-topic a little, not *exactly* sure what issue with the church you've having, just an idea.

It depends.

If you say the Church has done you alot of good, how can I believe that or not?

If you say the Church has done nothing but good, I won't believe you.

If you say the Church has never done any good, I won't believe you either.

Ask a question, get an answer.

Can you ask a more vague question? I can't tell if this is a Pro-Church or Anti-Church Question. I will say this. I know a number of people that go to Church and then treat people like garbabe all week. I call them HypoChrists. You beliefs don't make you a better person. If you live a good life and your good to others, it shouldn't matter to anyone what your religous affiliation is.

I wouldn't say that. I would believe all that I know to be the truth... about it that is... and I would make sure of all things before I was made to swallow anything from anyone down here on earth... The word of God is what matters, and not what Church says... Church is made of very imperfect men... whereas the Author of the Bible is the true living God... 2 Timothy 3:16, who cannot lie Titus1:2; who tells us how to worship Him John 4:24; and promises to fix the mess men have imposed on us... Revelation 21:3-4, who gives His people the fruits of His spirit freely, for the asking in the name of His son Jesus... Galatians 5:21-22; and the power to understand everything under the sun... that they wish to understand... Proverbs 28:5... If only they obey His commandment to get out of her (the empire of false religions on earth... Revelation 18:4... and pray in the name of His son Jesus, as he is the only one who brought us back to Him and gave us the option of being accepted as a subject in His new Kingdom, which he spoke about more than any other subject when he was on earth 2,000 years ago... Amen! (We never want to mistake a man-build church for the truth of the true God and after knowing what He is all about, we can't help but recognize the poison represented by one single lie that is too often spoken of in any chuch out there!) The god of all of them is the god of 2 Corinthians 4:4 and Christ himself would still be here if it wasn't for the ones just like them on earth who were threatened by the simplicity of his truth and they were about to lose their control on the people if a character like Jesus stuck around so they did everything in their power to get him killed and they still would today... sorry to disappoint you but it's the truth... and once you accept the truth of Jesus and of our heavenly Father, you will be set free and won't worry so much about what others believe or don't believe as you will know the truth and have the peace of God that excels all thoughts with you, in you, always! Thank you!!!

Sunshine, don't be stupid.

Everyone tries to convince people of their beliefs. It's as natural and as old as human interaction. When you get down to it, it's what just about every conversation is really about.

The biggest lie out there next to "the check's in the mail" is that liberalism is about "live and let live". --Liberalism and humanism is about, "You WILL accept this. Or else."

Liberal activists and other anti-Christian bigots (like you, I suspect) build their whole lives around convincing other people of their ways. (--When they're not threatening them with labels or ridicule, should anyone dare to question their PC dogma).

Get real.

At least get honest.

Church as in a building or christians? And it would depend on what you have to say about the church. Could you clarify?

The Church is made up of Men, and Men are mortal, not divine.

Men make mistakes, and interpret the true will of God (and/or the workings of Nature) to suit their own ends.

I believe in spirituality and morality... but never in the Church.

from other posts and questions you have on here i think you are referring to the roman catholic church and if that be the case sadly not everyone will believe you or i on the matter. keep the faith and god bless. hopefully with our prayer and example by both words and actions the case may change.....
