Usually a sobering talk with an alcoholic, or someone who has liver failure and is on dialysis, is enough to prevent you from getting a hangover from getting "really drunk".
Learn moderation now the easy way, or learn the hard way. It's not uncommon to want to "get drunk" to ease social tension or anxiety.. maybe don't drink at all (a solution to hang overs), see a psychiatrist, and possibly get a prescription for an anti-anxiety med, like Xanax. That'll give you that "break the ice" confidence, sans anxiety, that you're probably looking for in social groups.
Now wasn't that an answer that was far beyond what you thought you might get, like "Hey, take Chasers!" And I'm not being condescending either.. just think about it.

Drinking water before you go out can lesson a hangover. If you insist on drinking too much nothing will save you from a hangover if you are going to get one.
The one side effect of drinking too much is a hangover. The second side effect of drinking too much is alcohol is ending up dead by alcohol poisoning.
Be careful what you do, drinking can lead to all sorts of harm.

Here is a sure fire way to avoid getting bad hangovers.
When you drink, your body becomes dehydrated. If you want to avoid a hangover the following day drink as much water as you can before you go to sleep, and whilst you are drinking. It helps flush the toxins out of your body and stops headaches from dehydration.

drink alot of water before u go to bed and always have a glass with u when ur sleeping, for when u wake up. the more water the better.
take a multivitamin with ur water ur body is lacking vitamins and nutrients, so its good to eat or munch out before u pass out to.

There are remedies on the market that you take when you begin drinking, then before you go to sleep. You can find them anywhere. If you don't have the forethought to do that, try drinking LOTS of WATER or KOOL-AID (even better b/c of the sugar) and taking some ibuprofen before you go to sleep. Also have some protein (eggs, meat) and carbohydrates (bread, pasta) before you go to sleep.
In the morning after the fact, ibuprofen, a multi-vitamin & a nice cold coke help.

Drink a glass of milk before you drink It coats your stomach and this is nasty but i heard if you eat a stick of butter it helps. My suggestion though is make sure you have off work the next day and keep a glass of water and some aspirin by you bed. ( carbs are also good )

the best thing to do is drink water while youre drinking alcohol...this will make the hangover not as bad. also, when you get home, drink water before you go to sleep. and it also helps to eat something before you go to sleep cause the food will help absorb the alcohol.
