Actually the Bible says that Noah, his wife and his 3 sons and thier wives repopulated the earth.
If you wanted to see how this is possible, try tracing your own geneaology back 10 steps, you don't need to know all your ancestor's names, just a slot for the parents for each generation back If I am not mistaken, 10 steps back makes you a descendent of 1200 people.
Now, figure no birth control, 4 men 4 women....it didn't take long to repopulate..........

They only needed repopulate their clan. The world for them is the only world they know, whereever their eyes can wander and as far as their feet can bring them is their world. They knew about the other people on other part where they cannot reach. They also knew about the people who do not belong to their clan. Noah's tribe were the Sons of God mentioned in the Book of Genesis. They were not angels who took human form just to marry "The daughters of men whom they saw as beautiful." These daughters of men are the people called the Gentiles created before before the time of Adam and Eve. These were also the people whom Cain was afraid would see him wandering outside Eden and might kill him. That is why God put a mark on him so that he will not be killed. That was where he also found his wife and not among his sisters.
Sons of God is not really begotten from a woman, they just become Sons of God because they were chosen to introduce Singleness of God (Monotheism). There is no special favor accorded except to be guided and be blessed as long as they follow God's command.

Obviously, according to the Bible, the effects of genetics don't apply.
If they did, wouldn't every on on Earth (aside from being a complete pile of sterile inbreds) be the same race as Noah and his family?
It's not the only time, either... remember Adam and Eve?
I guess they should change the old bumper sticker from "With God all things are possible" to "With God the impossible is possible."

Honestly, if one uses his rationality it would be IMPOSSIBLE to believe the story regarding Noah's Ark. For one, there are different races. Today we have the Chinese, Africans, Whites, Latinos etc. Thus, it is impossible to believe that a Jewish family would be the ancestors of all the different races we have today.
Also, it is said that Noah brought animals along with him in the ship. There are animals that are only found in India, Antarctica, etc....and how could they have been able to have brought those animals inside their ship. And even if they were able to gather a pair of each species of animals they would have had to construct a massive boat.
Not everything in the Old Testament should be taken seriously. Most of the stories were just handed down from one generation to another, thus it is possible that most of the stories found in the Old Testament are simply just STORIES!

Noah and his wife had Shem, Ham and Japheth and they had wives to populate the earth.

Heb.2:9,14,16;

Yeah, and isn't interesting that scientists have found that all the millions of Europeans have descended from something like just 10 men? 10 descendants of Noah, perhaps? Grandsons?

Do the math. It is entirely possible that the eight people remaining after the flood could have and did repopulate the earth to the point it is today.

That flood happened on only Part of the Earth (where Noah stayed.
Its like the Tsunami in Acheh, Indonesia. Only part of the earth. It is part of doom days for part of the people in certain place or continents.

Because your God stuffed it up really badly, and rather than admit that he made a mistake, he decided to drown a lot of innocent animals as well. That sounds like a true "God of Love", doesn't it?
Three cheers for the most unpleasant character of all fiction: jealous and proud of it, a petty, unjust, unforgiving, control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully. Who is it? YOUR God of the Old Testament!
Dojn't believe me? Read (I mean REALLY read) your own Bible, and then tell which parts of it you reckon you should believe.
