In a perfect world we would all be concerned with the significance of this question. If only we did there would be peace on earth. ...Well if we are going to dream, we might as well dream BIG!!! -On a personal note, I have a Brother who only worries about making more and more money at any cost. I feel that he doesn't get this question It's heartbreaking. We have not spoken in years. Is there anything I can do to change this?

Most people don't even realize this scripture exist, nor acknowledge it. Most don't believe we were created body, soul, spirit. Most don't believe in a Heaven or a Hell, right or wrong, Satan or God. Most believe when we die we die. Life is just over. Some believe their spirits return as something else. So to them this saying has no significance.
To those of us that do believe, we hinge our entire Faith upon this scripture. Because our Faith is not contingent on what we gain in this life but on the next, for our goal is to put our Faith in God so that we may live Eternally.

He would be in a sorry state of affairs.
Not that there is anything wrong with having riches but most people with money and or power do not give God the credit.
I would rather be poor in spirit and gain heaven than be rich in wealth and go to hell.

Fame, fortune, power, influence. amusements, all kinds of friends, gambling priveleges with hotel accomodations, beautiful wife, illicit love affairs, illegitimate children, luxurious palaces, vacation homes. private jet, private yacht, collection of limousines and expensive sports cars, owning football players with own stadium and lots of robot like service people, available front seat at the church anytime.
One lifetime isn't bad. At least the same soul but different body having the opposite next time as payback (Karma)

Nothing at all....I see many trying to get so much but have miserable lives...The more they get the less of joy they have...Happiness can never be achieved by pleasures of the flesh....I will stand for the Lord,,I don't need material to be happy...

Not much. To give up anything eternal in exchange for something finite seems a bad swap.
