I believe atheists, should be free to express whatever it is they wish. This forum is about religion and spirituality.Even atheism is in a sense form of spirituality. Although atheists, and apparently yourself as well, do not recognize that they are on a spiritual path, they most certainly are.
I would rather have them here, participating, reading, critiquing, and learning about God, rather than standing to one side and learning nothing.
I am not threatened, by any comment an atheist makes about God, it doesn't change the reality of God or my belief.

You should not feel insulted that another does not believe as you do. And it would not be right to shut people out because they do no believe as you do. As a Christian are you not to love your brother and pray for him? An Atheist is given the same rights as you, free will. You cannot force belief on anyone. Atheist should not do this either. A mutual respect for each others beliefs would get us much further. Maybe it would just be better if you agree not to agree. Common courtesy is really important to help us all function. If your child needed an organ to live would you care if it came from a Christian or an Atheist? Or if someone pulled you from a burning building would you care if they were a Christian or an Atheist?

Even though atheism isn't a religion, it's a belief system built around religion. The root word, theos, means god. Where else would an atheist discuss lack of religion? Particularly when the dominant religion tends toward oppression of atheistic beliefs? People shouldn't be forced to sit in the back of the bus because they're not like the majority.

I agree they seem to spend an awful lot of time discussing something they don't believe in. Could it be they are hoping we will one day convince them?. Sorry it's not up to us , to decide who can be saved or who can be on this site. Follow your beliefs and keep the faith, it's those found trying at the end who get the reward.

instead of asking atheists to leave and start their own section- why don't we pray that one day they will accept God as truth- if we as Christians lived the truth that we claim to know,maybe more people would want to know the God we know. What do you think?

Do you realize your question is knocking Atheist?( hypocritical)
Whats the point of discussion if you only have people that agree with you?
Do you want to segregate people by races 2?

See ... first off, this is religion & spirituality - not Christianity.
Please remember that in terms of the world population,
Christianity is the MINORITY religion. Maybe not in the US,
but across the world, it is.
Secondly, religion is a part of culture and effects everybody
whether they don't believe in the particulars. For instance,
I don't believe in Christ, but I certainly will end up taking
Christmas off because most companies in the US take that
day off - so we're immersed in the subject whether we want
to be or not.
Thirdly, occasionally, someone who is talking about religion
says something that's useful and meaningful to people who
aren't religious... In fact, quite often.
Its only when they try to exclude that people start getting fiesty...

Why do you wish to cut yourself off from rational thought? Why communicate with people who exclusively share the same beliefs as you? I only wish that there were more open minded free thinking people in this world.

Just as soon as conservative Christians quit trying to impose their beliefs and lifestyle on everyone else;
-- and just as soon as they quit trying to destroy the US Constitution so they can replace our secular democratic republic with a quasi-theocratic totalitarian and fascist system based on the human-hating doctrine of their sadistic Old Testament God;
-- and just as soon as they quit trying to get science thrown out of our schools so it can be replaced with their belief system which has its origins with historically obscure Semitic tribes of semi-nomadic illiterate goat herders who thought that the earth was flat with air above and water below, and that the night sky was a dome with lights provided by God.
