I have been trying to get a loan to buy a car. I do not have a co signer. I do have a good credit score but not enough credit history. Any advice??

Plan on putting some money down, first and foremost. Also, you need to realize that you may not be approved on a $30,000 vehicle. The dealership (if they have any clue as to what they're doing) will get you approved on a first-time buyers program and pick out the vehicle that THEY choos efor you. This won't be your last vehicle purchase. Pay the loan on time, keep building your credit, and next time around you'll be able to pick and choose what you like without any issues.

you can buy an item on time and make payments over a period of time whatever is convieniant for you. furniture,stove refridgerater or whatever. when you finifh paying off what you buy on time you will have established credit. then you have proof you are responsible and will have a much better chance at getting a loan. banks are afraid to loan money because they have been burnt by so many others in the past. so if you buy on time you will get credit faster.

Time to watch tv and get yourself a GMAC loan. Suzuki will sell a car on payments to anyone even with bad credit

understand that you cannot get an expensive car and have a down payment of at least 1500 dollars, try carmax there network should get you fianced. keep the car under 15000 before tax and fees and you should be ok. Also other factors will be your job, income, and how long you have been at your address

I'm sure a dealer can get you financing. Just pay attention to the terms and be prepared to walk if the rates are too high.
