You know fruits are in season when the prices start to drop because they have to sell quickly....unless there were unforeseen circumstances that limited crops, and then you'll see the prices go up. I'm in California, so we're seeing apples and oranges, we're getting strawberries but they won't be really yummy until later in the summer, we also have peaches, but they're flown in from Chili, and then there are bananas. The weather has recently turned warm, so we're expecting to see melons, peaches, nectarines, plums, strawberries very soon.

It depends on where you live as to if a fruit is in season or not. Up north, the apples are not in season but, in the south they could be. Oranges are not up north buy south, yes, Bananas are in the south. Right now in the north west no fruit is in season yet.

Mangoes, pineapples, bananas and dalandan (oranges) are fruits always available in the market. Lanzones however is seasonal, it is harvested during the 3rd to 4th quarter and the best and sweetest are those which came from Camiguin. Rambutan are also harvested during this period. However, since Philippines is a tropical country, apples are not grown here.

It definitely depends on where you live. I live in Florida and our strawberry season is over while it's in season in California. We're getting our grapes from Chilie still and sometimes raspberries are from Chilie also until we get them in from California. We already have corn on the cob from some area, but when I lived in Michigan, we didn't get corn until the summer, so I have no idea where it's coming from.

When fruits are ripe they are in season. Thanks to modern farming methods it is just about possible to eat them all year round as some ripen early and others ripen later in the year.

I suppose it would depend on where you live. I live in Louisiana and there are so many. Tomatoes, apples, oranges, kiwi, plums, grapefuit, mangos, grapes (green and purple). I am sure there are more that are not coming to mind.
