Go to your local firehouse and get discarded fire hoses. You can cut it into long sections ... or tie it to a tree trunk and the dog can tug and chew.

The "Hurley" toy is guaranteed to be indestructible: http://www.doggoneclean.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=128

I have not found any toys yet that are indestructable not even kongs so if you find any please let me know. I do however agree with the answerer that said make your own, that is what I do and I do not spend a fortune on toys. One of the my dog's favorite things to chew is tree trunks. We get pieces of tree that have been cut down and they tear the bark off. It takes them a while to get it bare but they always do. Their second favorite is empty two liter bottles, paper and cap removed.

Kongs are really durable or you can try the Almost Indestructible Dog Ball at Petsmart. The Almost Indestructible Dog Ball is a hi-impact, polyethylene ball. Designed for large dogs or hard chewers, it won't chip, break, tear or pop. Stands up to tough play from the roughest dogs.

Well...this may sound silly...But my Mom and Dad had a HUGE rottweiller that LOVED to play. My Dad got one of those big orange cones (like they put down when doing street work). That dang dog LOVED that cone more than any other toy he had been given. He would bring it to us to throw (whew a bit heavy) and then go get it, but stop on the way to throw it around, drag it through the dirt, maul and slobber all over it, and THEN bring it back for a repeat performance. Talk about sturdy !!!! It's even still around, although sadly he is gone.
P.S. I guess that would only work on large dog though..lol

My weiner dogs are the same, they love any kind of squeaky, furry toy. Within about 5 minutes of receiving the toy, they have the sqeaker out and destroyed. Than they don't want to play with the furry part. I haven't found one yet that they can't destroy!!! They don't like Kongs.

The human body, (it's self repairing)

Kong's are OK, suggest you make toys, (braid pieces of fabric, use as a rope for tug-o-war, and a chew toy)

When the dog destroys these, (and it will), they're cheap, who cares?

We found a plastic soccer size ball, with indentations, allow the dog to chew on it or carry it. Ours has not been able to destroy this yet, I'm impressed. Bought it at a feed supply store.

Luck

If you can find the rubber part of a milking machine, the part that goes over the cows teat, that has been the best toy for our wpg, she has chewed through everything else. Otherwise toys made by the makers of Kong are good. Also a lacrosse ball works.

Get an Ultra Kong (the large black ones). They are great and virtually indestructable. You can stuff them with peanut butter, cheese, and other treats. They can keep a dog busy for hours.
