I would scrub my fingers raw cleaning other people's houses before I would spread my legs to put food on the table!
There are ALWAYS alternatives. You are just being melodramatic, because you want to feel like a victim.
The only victim in this situation is your son. Maybe he should be taken into foster care, where he will at least be provided with three square meals a day.

Don't blame it on the daddy! You are the caretaker of this baby and YOU decided to step up to the plate and take care of your child. If your son is crying on the floor because hes hungry you could turn him over to foster care until you get yourself together! Don't be so selfish if you are so loyal to this child to sleep with a man to feed him then you be fair to the boy and get him some help! How do you think you would feel if your mother had sex just to feed you . Have some respect for your child I'm sending a prayer your way Good Luck

well, if my son was at home cryin al alone on the bedroom floor cus he was hungry, and the only way to feed him, was to sleep with a man for a little bit of money, and his daddy was gone smokin rock now, in and out of lock down and i didn;t have a job i would say HOLD UP.. and i would get up off my feet and stop makin tired excusses, cus i wouldn;t want my baby to go through what i went through, cus i know if my mother can do it baby u can do it!!

The arrogance of this type of question never ceases to amaze me.
Almost all those that post on YA are members of first world countries where help exists for people that have that little money. There's no reason for someone to stoop to such a low level when they can go to a soup kitchen, etc. There are always ways, its just a matter of getting past the pride issue.
Do you know what its like to be starving for a week? I do. And I know what its like to cry when the welfare people bring you bags of groceries for Christmas.

Go to WIC and the food pantry. Also sleeping with a man is another way to have another baby without a daddy. Then you'd have to sleep with 2 men to feed 2 babies.

There are "other" ways to feed your son than to sell your body for a few bucks. One of it is, to "think" of lowering your "pride" to ASK rather than degrade yourself AND him. There are plenty of places you can go to that WILL help you.......There are missions, churches, social service agencies so to hear you say what you stated is only an "excuse" and not a long term solution. If you LOVE your son, you will lose some of that pride and go out and ASK...........Start with "asking" the Lord "first" to lead you to what you NEED.........

I wouldn't....I have sat many nights with my children hungry..I worked my butt off to take care of my children but still could not give them as much as they needed,,so we talked and laughed and soon enough food was not even in the mix of talking...I showed them they don't live off bread alone but by every word of God...God does supply all my needs....I am so thankful for those days when there was nothing cause it drew me and my family together and closer to the Lord....

You are a terrible mother. You are so selfish, you should turn your child over to child protection services. It was designed to help children in homes like yours.
A real mother sacrifices for her child by doing what is right for both of them.

And what's wrong with getting a regular job? Or pawning something? I don't see where sleeping with a man for money would be the only choice.
