The iron in the 10 toes (kings) represents the Roman Empire in its revived form, prior to the second coming of Christ, as having iron-like strength for conquest. But the clay mixed in depicts that the union (federation) of kings and nations would have fatal flaws of human , weakness, so that it is inherently vulnerable.

Well! this is a prophecy as you can tell from the sections before and also after these verses. The king had a dream and Daniel is interperting it as the Lord instructed hin to. The image is a representation of all the world superpower to the time of Christ's return. Daniel 2: 43 .....they shal mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shallnot cleave.... This is talking about the kingboms of the world and how they will try to unite the world by intermarrying to one another. The Europian leaders did this until Queen Elizebeth the second was called the grand mother of Europe. You can study all this in history, it not my word. After Babylon came the Meads and Persian then Greece rule the world then Rome after Rome (Alexander the Great) the kingdom was divided, his 4 generals then the mixed feet and clay. The Rome power is still there strong (the Pope and the roman Catholic, theybare now Papal Rome from Pagan Rome) but it will not have a union with the rest of the world powers.Remember there were 10 kingdoms that came from Rome which form the major Europe. When the Pope came on the sceen he subdued 3 of the 10. These will not be united again though they are trying hard as we all are seeing.

This last Gentile Power is from Ten Nations from the Roman
Empire, The Image that Daniel was interperting for King Nebuchadnezar was a Huge Image ,The head of Gold was
Babylon that had destroyed The Temple in Jerusalem in 586 B.C,This started the ("Times of Gentiles),It ended on June 6--1967,Jews took Jerusalem ,God Reveled to Daniel that the
Image becomes more divided as it moves from Gold to chest--to Iron which was the Two Legs of Roman Empire, The Western Nations have a lot of ancient Rome"s law.

Daniel's revelations to King Nebuchadnezzar are indeed quizzical in many ways. Verses 41 and 42 alludes to the fact that the kingdom Daniel saw in vision would have sufficient strength to remain on earth although it would be divided.

Verse 43 refers to the kingdom that will propagate, but will not retain the strength to remain solvent or self supportive. This verse also reminds me of the combination of two strong elements unto themselves--oil and water--yet we know they do not mix well at all. As a result, the residue is separated.

All prophecy relates to the world Empires and put it all together and it makes perfect sense. The statute is the same as the next scripture on subject.
Rev.17:10-14;
# 1 to # 5 had fallen [ all exist ], Rome world Empire #6 is and John is on Patmos, the next two? #7 ends 2520 years after Babylon world Empire #3 that Daniel is in [ it ended Judah kings 606 BCE ], THERE WILL BE NO KING UNTIL JESUS AT HIS SECOND COMING TO END THE 8TH EMPIRE.
So Satan has 7 heads [ 7 full world Empires, the eighth contends with 10 nations [ 10 horns ], Rev.12:1-12; Satan has a short time in the 8th.
Dan.8:12-14 [ 2300 years after Babylon world Empire #3 destroyed the Promised Land [ 606 BCE ], the word of truth will be in the world ].
Dan.12:1-7 [ 2500 years after Babylon world Empire #3, Michael of Jude 9; sees the word of truth spreading in the world 2Cor.4:3,4 ];
Dan.12:8-10 [ 2520 years after is Rev.12:1-12 ]; Satan has a short time in the end time.
Dan.12:11 [ 2 x 1290 = ] 2580 less 2520 is 60 years of the short time for Satan.
Dan.12:12 [ 2x 1335 = ] 2670 less 2520 is 90 more years of the short time for Satan ]; 2007 after Jesus was in Rome world Empire #6, is 2613 after Babylon world Empire #3, and 313 years more that the world of truth is circulating in the world for the end time.
1Thes,5:1-9,21; Jesus does not come as a thief in the night to children of the light of times and seasons.
If 6,130 after Eden, and 2670 after Babylon world Empire #3, or 150 years from Rev.12:1-12; to Rev.20:1-6,12,13 No Satan, no one but God knows the day and the hour.
Rev.9:1-5 [ 5x 30 = ] 150 years the pit is open for Satan? THE SEALED OF GOD ARE THERE. With Satan cast out of heaven a place is prepared for the raised up to be with Jesus John 6:39,40,44; 14:3; onto las 1Thes.4:15-17;

You can't totally understand this unless you go back and read the entire chapter. Chapter 2 is about a dream king Nebuchadnezzar had about a statue man that had a gold head, silver chest, bronze belly and thighs, legs of iron, and feet of iron and clay. This symbolizes the succession of world empires beginning with Babylon (Gold Head), Persia/Media (silver chest), Greece (bronze belly and thighs), and Rome is the legs of iron and feet of iron and clay. Verse 41 describes how Rome would be devided into two kingdoms and it did in the 5th Century. Verses 42 and 43 may be talking about the invasions of the Barbarians and the demise of the Roman Empire totally.

Remember that in the days of the prophet Daniel, God used this method of proving who His servants were by giving them the insight and wisdom to understand the dreams that He Himself put in the King's mind... Just as Joseph had done in Egypt...
Things were very different before Christ came on the earth to tell us all that we needed to know in order to make it to the real life in His new Kingdom; as he told us all that was important to know and it was all recorded in the one and only book which claims divine inspiration; the Bible!!! Proverbs 28:5; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 6:18; John 4:24
Daniel is speaking of a dream the King had... (and this was the last part of it) representing the last kingdom or government of power on earth which would consist of two separate ones, namely the United States and the UK... (or Anglo-Saxon; dual powership!) and that it is in those days, now! that the God of heaven would set up a kingdom (government) that will never be brought to ruin... will last to time indefinite... the one we pray for in the Lord's Prayer at Matthew 6:9... If you need more, let me know! I could verily elaborate... even though this should explain these scriptures... entirely!!!
According to this book there were seven world powers in all, and this you are referring to is the last one before the last one which will rule from the heavens with Christ as King; which is why there will be no more tears, no more sorrow, no more pain and even death will be done away with; as Christ already showed us on a small scale what all he could do and would do again on a global scale when he'd resurrect all of our dead loved ones... both the righteous and the unrighteous will be given a fair chance at living the real life without Satan's influence, etc. Revelation 21: 3-4

[36-45] The four successive kingdoms in this apocalyptic perspective are the Babylonian (gold), the Median (silver), the Persian (bronze), and the Hellenistic (iron). The last, after Alexander's death, was divided among his generals (Daniel 2:41-42). The two resulting kingdoms, which most affected the Jews, were the dynasty of the Ptolemies in Egypt and that of the Seleucids in Syria, who tried in vain, by war and through intermarriage, to restore the unity of Alexander's empire (Daniel 2:43). The stone hewn from the mountain is the messianic kingdom awaited by the Jews (Daniel 2:44-45). Our Lord made this image personal to himself; cf Luke 20:17-18.
Peace sand every blessing!

You do know that the Image that Neb set up is the same Image of the Political beast system of Rev 13:1-2? It was given for the latter days Dan 2:28.

Dan 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

Iron (supernatural 10 fallen angels)and Clay(fleshly) men don't mix

Dan 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

10 toes are the same as10 horns in these vs.
The toes allow the Image to stand.

Dan 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

10 fleshly kings, and another shall rise after them=supernatural ten toes/horns.

Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

hour of temptation, the time satan is here.

Dan 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay .

Iron is always of Satan, these 10 are fallen angels that come with satan. They shall mingle with 10 earthy kings.

Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Satan's one world system shall make all the world(consume) worship the beast system.

Dan 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Christ is the stone.

Rev 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast [it] into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

It is talking about the kingdom of the world's empire that will be divided and not cleave to one another because of division. These verses talks of the fourth kingdom. It only talking about another generation of people. The book of daniel is a book of prophecy talking about things to come.
