my college friends and I used to drink it, and cant for the life of me this of the name... the bottles were about 2/3 the size of normal ones

If you're near Cincinnati, it's Little Kings Cream Ale. I drink that as an election day tradition (Little Kings seems so right for election day, doncha think?).
