Well first of all you need to get to the cause of your heartburn is it acid reflux or something more serious like your gallbladder. I use to get heartburn after I ate or drank anything, it didn't matter what it was. I was treated with prescription meds for 3 years and then I had a very bad spell and I thought I was having a heart attack. I went to the ER and it took them hours to find out it was my gallbladder. I had gall stones and that is what had been causing my heartburn the whole time. Please go to your doctor and tell him about our symptoms and talk to him about your gallbladder. Good luck.

I had incredible heartburn when I was on chemo. The vinegar thing does work for most people. I have also tried bananas!
Try to figure out what is causing the heartburn. Certain foods, fried foods, spicy or greasy sauces, big meals, being overweight, going to bed too soon after eating.
p.s. peppermint or ginger tea made may heartburn horrible!

I understand that a spoonful of vinegar helps...kind of yucky to think of, but it DOES keep the heartburn at bay, and it is all natural! Drink it diluted in water, try adding to chamomile tea or hot water with lemon juice or something. Or just guzzle!

NO baking soda...that can cause problems with your body's blood chemicals. You might try elevating the head of your bed on blocks and sleep on a couple of pillows. Milk if you can tolerate it coats the stomach lining so the acid is not eat-ting the lining as well. I chew a peppermint piece of gum that works too. Eclipse is excellent.
