well, I don't consider myself 'religious' because I follow Jesus, not a 'denomination' or 'religion'.... So i would have to say the Bible is what influences my faith... not friends or family or church or anything. I read the bible and I ask for wisdom in understanding of that
peace back atcha

When people are young, their parents have the most influence over their religious upbringing. At adolescence, friends become a prime influence along with natural intellectual curiosity about alternative belief systems. Basically, a person's belief/unbelief system is always evolving, but not always in a linear direction.

None of the above.
It's not about a decision or influence. The influences in my early life were wholly pro-Christian. It simply wasn't true for me. I do have intellectual influences for my philosophies and opinions about religion in general. However, belief is belief, and belief in god(s) is simply not my reality. Therefore, none of the above.

Not religion.............spiritually.
God would come first mainly because he influenced people first.
I would say with religion my parents.
Spiritually with my sister, some of her friends, and a number of people who came and went out of my life.
Mostly prayer coming from those who are faithful in Christ and Gospel Music.

Basically I was a Hindu from birth. But once I turned 13 I began to ask questions about my faith.Everything I could think of.Most people create their own answer to it and assume something thats not true. But I researched, and everything about my faith was personally satisfying,I have no doubts about it since it is equal about all faiths, all i do regret is that I cannot explain it to ignorant people that easily.

I personally don't give any thought to religion.
My personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the strongest influence on me concerning what I believe.

my Spirit or the Holy Spirit inside me, also what I read in Gods word, KJV bible.
I really don't like religion it seems to me it's a bunch of man made rules and most can't be found in the Bible.
bible says "true religion is to visit the sick and help thee needy"
