Specifically need belts for a Grundig TK-248, early 70's vintage.

Try "needles in a haystack". Not sure if they have a web site but they are a chain with stores in several cities. We have one here in the Dayton area down by the Dayton mall. There are several wholesale vendors that have a large supply of belts (such as CEI inc. or MCM elecrtonics) but you would have to set up an account as I doubt if they sell single lot units. They show belts in their catalogs with pictures and scales to check sizes and as belts are still used in many products such as VCR's etc. You may find the right size for your needs.
