Many, but not all, offer both regular retail cards and major credit cards.

Many stores offer card holders special deals and discounts that is not offered to non card holders. Plus many will offer 0% for 6 or 12+ months promos for purchases that exceed a certain dollar amount.

I agree that the regular retail cards do have high interest.
But if a person does not have the 0% promo and pays in full when they receive the statement, they can bypass paying any interest while still receiving the special offers.

Some offer credit cards ..but they are high interest , ( to me any interest is too high ), you would be better off paying cash for things ....

They are so not worth it..the interest rate is like 22%
