Dandruff
Step no.1 - Take 100gm each of Amla, Reetha and Shikakai and boil in two lites of water on slow heat until the liquid reduces to half. Use this as shampoo for your hair for the next one month.
Step no.2 - Massage your hair with warm Castor and Almond oil mixed together in equal quantities atleast once a week.
Step no.3 - Then use a hair pack of Amla powder mixed with one egg and left in the hair for atleast half an hour.

I've tried several different types of shampoo because I've had oily, dandruffy problems for years.
I've found that the ones that work are the Kirkland brand shampoos from Costco, the Sunsilk ones especially the one in the green bottle, and Thermasilk.
Head and Shoulders DOES NOT work. It's way too harsh on the scalp, and leaves your hair really itchy and red. Also, DON'T TRY Selsun Blue, again, it's way to strongly medicated.
I always thought that conditioner worsened dandruff, so I didn't use it for years. But I started using it recently, and it actually works really good!!!!!!!
What I do is condition my hair every day, and they shampoo AND conditin only every other day. This leaves your hair clean, but not too dry, still it's silky soft every single day!
