Where is the Law ?

I know the Constitution authorises congress to levy taxes - BUT where is the law, statute or whatever that authorises the IRS to collect taxes ????? When did Congress say or state or wrote, " IRS, go ahead and collect taxes in the name of the Treasury Dept ? "

Title 26 of the US Code. Google it. Then pay up.

File your returns and pay your taxes, you will be much happier in the long run.

Yesterday, a couple in New Hampshire were each sentenced to 63 months in Federal Prison for tax evasion.
