Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
It gives me strength in knowing that know one is perfect and that we all have fallen.

I believe it is Exodus 3:14 "And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM. And he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel: I AM hath sent me unto you." To me, this means that God is existence, rather than something THAT exists. Also, this would explain how man is made in the image of God as well. After all, when someone calls out "Where are you?" You can always reply "Here I am."

I have so many, but I would have to say my favorite is
Proverbs 3:5 & 6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding; in all your ways, Acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."
It was my mother's favorite passage and it is definitely mine, good question.

leviticus 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Lovely huh? And we wonder why so many hate crimes...

Psalm 73:25,26
"25 Whom have I in heaven but You?
I desire You more than anything on earth.
26 My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,
but God remains the strength of my heart;
He is mine forever." (NLT)
Well, I have discovered the truth of these verses more times than I could ever say.

Isaiah 63:3 " I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment."
So kind, so forgiving. So typical of christianity.

the lord is my light and my salvation; whom should i fear? the lord is my life's refuge; of whom should i be afraid? when evildoers come at me to devour my flesh, my foes and my enemies themselves stumble and fall. though an army encamp against me, my heart will not fear; though war be waged upon me, even then will i trust. -- Ps. 26:1-3
