This guy that i know from class told me he liked me, and he asked me out. He's nice, but I don't really have a "thing" for him. But I'm also really picky when it comes to guys, so I'm afraid that if I keep passing guys up, I will never find one. Should I go out with him, even if I don't like him in that way?

Instead of thinking of yourself as picky, how about thinking of yourself as having high standards? As long as you're not pathological about it, I'm sure there are some good reasons you have high standards, and some good reasons you're reluctant to do speculative dating.

I don't think you should worry about passing guys up. You can figure out how to get to know guys without dating, then try it when you're really interested.

Give the guy a chance. What's the worst that could happen? You might find that after spending some time with him that you do have a "thing" for him. Better to take a chance than wonder "what if" for the rest of your life.

if you don't like him that way, don't unless you really mean it... you'll be sending the wrong message to him. i'm kind of the same with you. i am really picky over guys too. what grade r u in?

Trust your heart. If that says go for it then give it a shot. You never know when you will find true love

You could try giving him a chance, as long as what you have now isn't too important to mess up.
