the fruit isn't named, but my guess is yes. As a matter of fact, since all of creation was "very good" according to God I wouldn't doubt if you could pick an orange or a lemon off of the tree and eat it skin and all - probably as sweet as anything! Same with every other fruit and veggie we peel.

blessings :)

The fruit that grew on that tree does not exist on earth as we know it. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil was one of a pair of trees that God put in the center of the garden of Eden. The other was the tree of life. Both trees still exist, but they are hidden and protected from us by an angel. The Bible says it looked good and smelled good and tasted good. It was not an apple because they are common fruit. God had to be sure Adam and eve would not eat of the tree of life after having disobeyed Him, because they might live forever in disobedience. Once we get to heaven, we will be allowed to eat from both the trees as much as we want. The Tree of life produces a different fruit every month. Cool! and the leaves are for the healing of the nations. Hope that helps.

Nobody knows, but the theory is that Eve ate an apple. Well, it sould've been tasty, or she wouldn't have finished it. But thats not the point. The POINT is that Eve did something God forbid her to do, so now, people are dying.

The fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The Bible doesn't give the fruit a specific name. Tasty? I'll ask them when I get to heaven.

It is portrayed today more or less like an apple. But my Bible teacher said it isn't. It must have looked really good and it must have tasted good too because Eve ended up letting Adam have a bite. Or was the serpent aka devil so convincing?

The point of the story of Adam and Eve is that we all tend to sin and even though God sent them away from Eden, he never abandoned them. God hated A's&E's sins and not A&E themselves. God bless!

The Bible does not say what kind of fruit. Just forbidden fruit.

Genesis 3:6
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

I think it was a parable. In Hebrew mythology the relationship of A&E was as children of god. The choice was to live forever protected and comfortable in the garden of eden or to exercise their free will and go out and make their way in the world with all its dangers. This was the symbolic sacrifice of safety and nurture versus freedom which all humans make when they depart from their parent(s) to go forth into the big bad world and perhaps enter into a maturer relationship with their parent(s)

The tree of knowledge of good and evil. What could that represent? God's righteouness? Did man fall from grace when he attempted to live up to the law? What was the fruit of the tree of life?

Biblical scholars believe that the fruit was a pomegranate seeing the fruit is common in the Middle East. I take that they feel when the Christian creation myth was written, this was the fruit that they described.

The knowledge fruit. It must've been tasty, but too much knowledge is a dangerous thing. Ask my co-worker, he seems to think he knows everything.
