Two come to mind
1. I was 16 and had just finished a reading and as I went to step off the altar the toe of my sandal caught on the rug and sent me sprawling right to the feet of the priest. In front of the entire church......my face was red for days!!!!

2. My at the time 3 yr old stood on the pew while the priest was reading the Gospel and began to LOUDLY sing the theme song from Cops.....again my face was red for days!!!

Now they are just funny memories that remind me I was the only one truly embarrassed....my Church family only got a little chuckle and I was still accepted.....More to come my kids are still little...

funniest: I've had several. Mostly when my babies were babies... they would always "entertain" the people around us by making cutsie faces, overflowing their diapes, laffing at daddy etc.

embarassing: I was leading worship and changing overheads at the same time, and I forgot the words and the overhead slipped off of the machine and I didn't notice. The piano player had to pick up the slack.... ouch :)

blessings :)

My brother and I were sitting in a pew in a Catholic church waiting for my sister's 8th grade graduation thingee. We were very, very early and the nuns were singing. It sounded really beautiful and all of a sudden my brother farted. It was really, really loud and it was so funny. I tried not to laugh, but, cmon. farts are funny.

In the midst of a silent prayer at someone's home Bible Study, someone else came to the door and knocked. One couple's 3-yr-old son looked up and said "OH, Sh*T, somebody's here!"

We all about fell over laughing.

I was little (like maybe 4 years old) and I came back from communion and I went to go hug my daddy and I looked up and I realized I was hugging the preist.

I went to a relative's church for an event, and people there started speaking in tongues.
I was very embarrassed for them.
