over time?
Regarding the big contradictions.
Don't they know that the Lord God of the Holy Bible will not make room for the Mormon book? But that Jesus will burn all tares sown of the devil?

Mormons should tell this to Israel today to see what Jews think about the Mormon Book being Josephs stick, & the bible being Judahs stick.

Where the Mormon book changes the Gospel Message is where the adding to Gods Word Is. It is true that everyone born of God is a walking epistle. And there are many good books out there, written by Christians with the Word of God in it. But they are good because they are books about God & how His Word sets free. They don't change the Good News, like the Mormon religion saying that Jesus only made a way possible for everyone to be saved after they do all they can do. First they must be baptized into their church & not sin anymore. What happens when the sin & each Mormon will sin again after they join the church.

The devil does testify of Jesus (Different than Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Son of the Living God.) in all his books. Who is a copycat of the real Jesus Christ. The devil copy cats all of Gods Names.

Kerry,
All the versions of the Holy Bible are written with different words, yet somehow have the same message. Not one version of the Good New Messages of the Holy Bible denies that what Jesus did on the cross is sufficient to redeem us from our sins. Just because different words are used for different peoples understanding ability doesn't mean the bible is altered.

Just liek the Jehovah Witnesses, they have added to the good book. I think the J. W. have added less to the Good book and the Mormons added more, but still they ahve altered the Bible, (stating like an Atheist would state) that something was lost in translation and that they, the Mormons put it back in by revelation, which is whay they stil need a prophet, because of current revelation, like I can't speak to God and hear from him myself, I need someone else to hear from God for me, anyways, They claim that the book of Mormon is a second witness to the bible because Jesus didn't rise for three days and so they claim that jesus visited North America during those two days and it is in the book of Mormon and that accounts for those lost days before his resurrection, like the J. W. who have the watch tower, the mormons also have other books to back up their beliefs because there isn't enough scripture in the bible to do it with, in their translated mormon Bible. ECT

You make it sound Like Mormons think they're perfect. Mormons do think they are the only true church. what church doesn't think that. But, The Members don't think they are perfect, in fact far from.
If Jesus didn't require us to do anything but believe to be saved, then why do we have his life emulate? Why does he have so many good living lessons?
The Book of Mormon is held as an equal with the Bible, and other writings that are believed to be true. No one book is more important then another. In fact, In "Sunday School", Mormons have a four year rotation on subjects,. Old Testament, New testament, the Book of Mormon, and Church history. Notice that half is taught directly from the Bible.
The Bible was altered, and it's as obvious as the Sun. How many different versions are there? Each one different then the other. Not to mention tha it is so old and translated so many times that men could have done and actually have made some mistakes.
To say that any of these sacred books are 100% correct and accurate is also like saying the Da Vinci Code is 100% correct too. it just doesn't make any sense at all.
Jesus taught to open your hearts, minds, and spirits. closing them like this will only keep you hidden in complete obscurity.

First, we don't love the Book of Mormon, et. al. OVER the Bible. We love the Bible as well as the others. They are all the word of God.
Second, there is mentioned in the Bible other books that were never included in the Bible, but that the writers of the Bible clearly considered to be as scriptural as what is in the Bible. The Bible is, what, almost 2000 years old. There is no way that the translation has remained pure and perfect from then till now. The Bible is only as perfect as the men who wrote it and the men who translated it, and the men who put it together, etc.
As for God making room for the Book of Mormon, God inspired the Book of Mormon the same as He inspired the Bible. It is another testament of Jesus Christ. The devil does not testify of Jesus Christ.

Why don't you read the Book of Mormon yourself and pray to find out from God if it is true?
James 1:5 says "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him."
Do you KNOW that what you believe about the Book of Mormon is true? Or are you just repeating what others have told you?
About the Bible, did you know that in the King James Version of the Bible, every word that is italicized was a word or phrase that the committee translating it (from Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic) could not agree on? And recent finds of those originals have also yielded some different translations from the original in the KJV. The KJV is the source of the other translations used commonly among Christians.
There are many scriptures lost from the Bible:
Exodus 24:7 "the book of the covenant"
Numbers 2114 "the book of the wars of the Lord"
Joshua 10:13 "the book of Jasher"
1 Kings 11:41 "book of the acts of Solomon"
2 Chronicles 9:29 "book of Nathan the prophet"
There are lots more.
The Bible has been changed many times throughout history. This is why we believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. This is also why we need a prophet to reveal and restore lost truths.

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints(Mormon/LDS). I cherish both the record(stick) of Judah(Bible) and the record(stick) of Joseph(the Book of Mormon).
They go hand in hand. The bible prophecies of the Book of Mormon. Read Ezekiel 37:15-20.
Canonization of the Bible is a false doctrine. Those who believe that the Bible is the only scripture are saying that God is incapable of bringing forth new scripture.
Have you read and prayed about the Book of Mormon? How do you know it isn't the word of God? The Old Testament says he who doesn't hear the whole matter before making a decision is a fool.
Don't listen to everything you hear from anyone who hates anything. Especially someone who hates Christians.
I hope you can find the courage to do as God has said and find out for yourself. James 1:5-6 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and ubraideth not...
Hope that helps! have a Great day! :)

It would be naive to think that the Bible has not been altered over the centuries. Just look at all of the various translations and versions and editions. Each has different interprations of the verses. Not many versions say the same thing.
The Book of Mornon does not replace the Bible nor do Mormons "love it" or prefer it over the Bible. Both the Bible and Book of Mormon work hand in hand in supporting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They both teach of Christ and his Gospel. Is it not good to have more than one witness of Christ? I'll answer my own question and say, "yes."

The Bible actually says nothing about itself to imply that the canon is complete. As one of many passages implying incompleteness, consider John 21:25, which says....
"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."
John understood that there could have been many other books written to describe all the words and deeds of Christ. It is simply a human assumption that all the truly important information has been recorded and preserved, and that we don't need anything more.
As a Mormon, I DO believe the Holy Bible to be the word of God, and I love it.

First of all, the bible wasn't written all at once in one single language by one person taking dictation from god.
It was assembled over time, cultures and languages. Translating Hebrew or Greek, plus knowing their idioms of speech during the time it was written; is not very likely to be exactly what was intended.
For example, the word "gay" colloquially means something different than it did 30 years ago. 40 years before that, "guy" was defined as "queer looking fellow". Combining those two words and definitions and applying 21st century meanings renders an entirely different 'translation' than when they were written. A "gay guy" in 1937 meant a goofy looking happy man.
As for the BoM, it is a pure fantasy made up by a pious but clever fraud who somehow conned people into giving him power, money, wives and daughters.

Mormons love and cherish the Holy Bible.
If you walk into any religious book store and look at the various Bibles you will see for yourself that many of the Bibles have been altered. You absolutely can not say that all the Bibles available now are the same.

Because they believe that Jesus already came to Earth the second time... as told by Joseph Smith. And he has translated the book of Mormon ... so it must be true... right? I think it is sad the whole religion when it comes to lies and deceit. they look the other way. Many of the things that GOD said would happen through these men.... never did.. so what does that say? God isn't wrong.... I have done so much research on this church and even have a good Friend from this church....... it is an amazing bunch of people theway they fool themselves into thiking a certain way.
