The symptoms: left eye extracts a white/green goo, like a human booger. It gets to where he can't open his eye very well, either that or he chooses not to because it hurts, I don't know. I've been cleening the gooey stuff off of his eye with a wet cloth for the past week and it seems to have gotten just a tiny bit better. He isn't yowling anymore when i clean it. When he first got this eye cold(at least that's what I was told it was by my mom) he would just sit there, like a cat on a leash. When I started cleaning it/wiping off the goo he beahaved like his usual self. Ecsept he doesn't play with his toys anymore. (He's an outside kitten and is very adventurous). Is this more of a reson to take him to the vet or does anyone think it will heal on it's own? So far I don't think his eye has gotten any better. There was a time, though, that he could open his eye pretty well, but now he likes to keep it shut most of the time. PLEASE HELP ME!

In the dessert were I live the cats get parvo in their eye's, it occurs naturally in the soil here. That's what your cats sounds like it has. You can get a gel antibiotic at the feed store that you put directly in the eye and also a small dose of penicillin. The penicillin comes in a liquid, but if you have some left over from when you or a family member were sick you can just crush it up and put it in some milk.
I personally would go to the Vet first and have it checked and have the cat get is shots to prevent further infection. Parvo in the eyes does cause blindness and death so its not really a light matter.

Your kitty needs to see a Vet. It is most likely an infection either from a "kitty cold" or possibly he got scratched on something outside. Either way, he does need an antibiotic eye ointment.
Also, why are you letting a 2 month old kitten outside? This is SO dangerous for him!!!!!

If you don't want to end up with a blind cat you had better go to a vet right away. There is no way you can treat this yourself.

A two month old kitten should not be outside at all. He still hasn't had all his shots. He will have a rabies shot at around four months and he should be neutered before six months.

My daughter always got diarrea from antibiotics and then q horrible diaper rash because of that. The best things that worked (and still work) are when you change his diaper use lukewarm water not wipes because they can hurt, whenever possible let him air out. Lay down a trash bag with a bath towel on top of it and let him play naked for a while (make sure the room isn't too cold). When he does need a diaper use diaper rash cream or paste (I love Triple Paste) and remember there is no such thing as too much.

You need to take him to a vet. Cats can't take asprin or some of the things a dog can. I had a cat that died from an eye infection.

It is really a small infection. It doesnt do much. It is like in the morning when you wake up and you have the crumbly stuff near your eyes. It is like that. It will go away. But take it to the nurse anyway for to see if it is anything else and to see if there is anything to make it go away faster.

I always steeped a black tea teabag in boiling water for 10 minutes- removed teabag and let bag cool to warm. hold cat in your lap and gently hold tea bag over the eye. the wipe with a tissue that is dipped in cool water. It worked everytime.

Please take your kitten to the vet ASAP. He may have a corneal ulcer on his eye which is very painful and will not heal on it's own. Good luck with your special boy.

Take him to the vet. They will prescribe either an oral antibiotic or an ointment to apply to his eyes, or both.

Please take your kitten to a vet before this infection spreads. What can be cured today may kill tomorrow.
