As a tattoo artist, do you recommend working by hand or with a machine?

I think the vast majority of us use a machine. The bottom line is, you have to be a good artist. It is the ability to control your tool properly, whether it is a hand tool or machine.

You have to see it, feel it, believe it, live and breathe it.

I'm not a tattoo artist but as someone on the receiving end I would prefer the machine.

do you mean tap style?? that is way more tedious and will take much more time and lots of patience.. the machine gives you way more control and you work faster.
