No I wouldn't because as a skeptic and realist I know that the Star Trek transporter is nothing but a plot device for a TV show. The physics wouldn't work. The machine would kill you and you would never be reassembled correctly. We don't have "souls" and I'm not dumb enough to trust a bit of science fiction nonsense used to save money on building the shuttle set for the first season.

Airplanes as they do exist.
Transporter like in Star Trek would need to transmit an energy equivalent to 1500 megaton of TNT (for the record, the most powerful nuclear bomb even tested was "only" 50 megaton) for the average weight individual; imagine a "small" short circuit in the system...

Airplanes.
The 'transporter' is a form of execution. It takes you apart to see how you are made, then constructs a perfect copy of you at the transport site. Because the duplicate is perfect, including all the neuropathways, it thinks it's you. But it's not! You're dead - disintegrated! Don't ever get in one of those things!

Airplanes, you have to be careful of flies entering the transporter and mutatiing you into a half man half fly type creature. Unless you like that sort of thing. Then you could fly wherever you like.

Airplanes by far. Weird things can get in with you in that transporter, you know.

I always take the transporter. Although it's a bummer when they lose my clothes.

The transporter is safer because it's nonexistent and you just stay home.

Definitely transporter.
If anything goes wrong - you just disappear into etherland.
With planes, anything goes wrong - you will likely have to go through a terrifying experience of a plane crash and pain and then you die.
