Any one out there heard of PKD or have it them selves?

Pyruvate kinase deficiency (PKD) is one of the most common enzymatic defects of the erythrocyte.It is part of a group of disorders called hereditary nonspherocytic hemolytic anemias.It is very rare with the incidence estimated to be 51 cases per million in the Caucasian population. I have known it theoretically but haven't encountered actual case so far.Read more on attached resources.
